How Contact Cement Adhesive Works:

1. Apply adhesive to both surfaces (the car and the weatherstrip)
2. Allow to dry until tacky (a few minutes)
3. Press surfaces together firmly
4. The bond is immediate – position carefully before contact

When Is Adhesive Necessary?

• Always recommended for a secure, lasting installation
• Required for seals without clips or pins
• Helpful for filling gaps and preventing loose spots on seals with clips

Installation Tips:

• Clean surfaces thoroughly before applying adhesive
• Work in sections – don't try to glue the entire seal at once
• Apply a thin, even bead – more is not better
